This service comprises of a safety check, full boiler service and checking all external components on the system are working correctly. Examples of external components would be checking function of radiators, zone valves, timeclocks, thermostats,expansion vessels and safety valves. These are over looked nearly always on a common boiler service which can impact the longevity of your boiler.
During the service any perished parts will be replaced including combustion seals, burner nozzles, ignition electrodes or condensate traps on some models. An oftec trained engineer will also do a visual check on the oil tank and line as well as any other part of the oil fired heating system and will not and recommend any remedial works to be undertaken.
